Colours of Krakow

London: I’m having an affair. I still love you, but my heart has been hijacked by the magical city of Krakow.

Having been in the studio for the best part of ten days I finally ventured out for a day of wandering, and was blessed with clear blue sky and extraordinary low sunlight.

The effect was to soften everything both inside and out, to allow me to listen to my work with a refreshed ear, and to feel both at peace and tremendously exhilarated by my existence here at this moment in time.

When I arrived here the city was shrouded in dark grey fog and the air was cold and biting. What a contrast on this final day of 2012; suddenly I was struck by vivid colours of buildings, sky and people, some of which I have attempted to capture here.
